Celebration Town Center calls Now Snowing "Central Florida's original and premier family-friendly 'snowing' event." Its 2026 event page says the event welcomes "visitors from across Central Florida, throughout the state and around the world." This year marks the 28th season. It runs every night from Saturday, November 28 through Thursday, December 31, which comes to 34 nights of snow on Market Street with four snowfalls each evening.
The town's other big December event is two years older and runs very differently. The Holiday Home Tour was started by Celebration's Women's Club in 1997 and became part of the Celebration Foundation in 2016. It takes place over a single weekend, and it only happens because residents decorate their homes and open them to ticket holders. In 2026 that weekend is December 5 and 6, the second weekend of the snow season.
If you live here, it helps to see both calendars side by side. One runs for five weeks and is built to bring people into town. The other lasts two days and depends on the people who live here. The first two weeks of the season hold most of what is happening in Celebration this December.

Five of these six events fall between November 28 and December 11. After that, Market Street keeps its nightly routine through New Year's Eve.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony is centered on 701 Front St. The program starts at 5:30 PM, the countdown begins at 5:55, and the tree lights just before the season's first snowfall at 6:00 PM. The listing runs the evening from 5 PM to 9:30 PM, with free admission and parking.
That 6:00 PM snowfall begins a routine that holds for the rest of the season. Experience Kissimmee's listing gives the nightly snowfall times on Market Street as 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 PM. Over 34 nights, that adds up to 136 scheduled snowfalls. Because the schedule repeats every night, a resident who misses one round can catch the next one an hour later on any evening through December 31.
Now Snowing is presented by Lexin Capital and sponsored in part by Celebration Town Tavern and Experience Kissimmee.
Walking downtown, watching the snow and parking are all free. Experience Kissimmee lists Charles Dickens-style strolling carolers and a Snow Village as part of the season. The paid activities are priced for a single visit:
The Resident Skate Pass is the only item on the menu priced for people who live here, and it costs the same as four single skating sessions. The Town Center listing gives the price but not the details. Before you buy one, ask at the rink how many sessions it covers and what proof of residency it requires.
Celebration Santa's menu describes a "Skip the Line" option. It includes the Home for the Holidays Package, a bundle of prints with images on a souvenir USB, and the USB also works as a season pass. Santa is on Market Street nightly through December 24 and closed on Christmas Day. He returns as "Summer Santa" from December 26 through December 31. For families with relatives visiting between Christmas and New Year's, that week is the only post-Christmas window for Santa photos on Market Street.
A week after the tree lighting, the season's attention moves from Market Street into people's homes. The Celebration Foundation's Holiday Home Tour and Magical Marketplace runs Saturday, December 5 from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday, December 6 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Tickets are $30 per person and are valid both days. The Foundation describes the tour as "exclusive access inside seasonally decorated homes throughout Celebration," and each ticket includes Stop #1, the Magical Marketplace, where holiday décor and gift baskets are for sale.
Tickets are sold at the Foundation office, 610 Sycamore St, Ste 110, by phone at (407) 566-1234, or through the form on the Foundation's page. The Friday night Sparkle Soirée VIP Reception on December 4 offers an early look at the Marketplace with food, drinks, music and dancing. The Foundation lists the 2026 reception as sold out.
The tour depends on a lot of volunteers. In its recap of the 2022 tour, the Foundation counted more than 200 of them, including designers, decorators, basket makers and home volunteers. That year the Marketplace's Winter Wonderland filled Town Hall. The 2026 page lists the Marketplace as Stop #1 and does not give a venue, so check your ticket materials for the location.
The town's 2023 event page describes how the tour worked that year. Ticket holders got a booklet of participating addresses and could visit as many homes as they liked. They drove themselves between stops and were asked to remove their shoes or wear the booties provided. Because Celebration covers a lot of ground, the page suggested allowing two to three hours to see every home before closing time. Those details come from 2023. This year the tour closes at 6:00 pm on Saturday, and Market Street still has snowfalls at 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 PM that evening.
The Celebration Foundation describes its mission as "Building better community through the arts, culture, and education." Its listed programs include Learning without Hunger, Celebration Life Launch, scholarships, Thriving In Place and Campus Express. Its community grants program awards $200 to $5,000 to organizations serving Celebration and the surrounding parts of Osceola County. Buying a home tour ticket supports a Celebration organization whose programs serve the town and the surrounding county.
The last fixed date before Market Street settles into its nightly pattern is Friday, December 11. That morning, WESH TV-2 Share Your Christmas sets up a food drive drop-off at Celebration Town Center from 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM, benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank. It falls on a weekday morning, so neighbors can drop off donations on the way to work or school, well before the evening snow crowd arrives.
Read in order, the first two weeks look like this:
After December 11, the calendar holds only Market Street's routine. Snow falls at 6, 7, 8 and 9 PM, Santa is on hand through Christmas Eve, Summer Santa covers December 26 through 31, and the season ends on December 31. If you missed the home tour, you can still see the snow on any of those nights.
